Alert

Formatted by Neeharanshu Vilas Vaidya.

There you go
My ears pop up
As I hear some one whisper

I become alert
And I alarm you

It's a quiet evening
And you are relaxing
Sometimes engrossed in work
Or watching your favourite TV show

You pay no heed to me,
Sometimes even get mad at me
Asking me to shoo away
To maintain your peace of mind

I am anxious for you
And doing my job
The job that defines me
And perhaps you surely expect from me

I am wondering now
Utterly confused ...

I have adjusted my world for you
I do as you say
I eat what you give
But this one is my identity

Let me alarm you
Let me disturb you
I do so only when needed
Maybe at the wrong time.
